Using Social Media to Improve Industry Image
Private companies have worked hard over the last decade to improve public perception of their operations. Thanks to a series of high-profile crises, however, maintaining good public relations hasn’t been easy. Some of the biggest companies in the world, such a Facebook and Google, have all seen their fair share of scandals, damaging their reputation and undermining trust. The key to effective business branding is communication. Without it, it’s impossible to create a positive impression, either with the public or colleagues.
Using Social Media to Improve Industry Image
As the following infographic points out, social media will play an increasingly important role in the future. Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook are all vital tools that will allow firms to describe their mission and get people back on their side. Companies need these tools to align the values of all of the people connected to their organisation. Without them, they will struggle to create a convincing message, and their brand will suffer.
Part of building a successful image on social media is ensuring that all employees in the organisation have a good understanding of the company’s core values and strategies. To do this, though, companies need to invest their resources in making it happen. Here’s where the following infographic can help. It shows you how to go about making sure that people in your organisation understand what you’re trying to achieve and where you’re going. It then goes on to give you helpful tools you can use as part of your approach, including promoting your mission on social media.
Anyway, let’s not “over-egg the pudding” on this one. A picture paints a thousand words after all!
