Unique Bloggers that Inspired me in 2018
Blogging, well it ain’t easy. Ninety percent of the time, it is the spirit within the blogging community that keeps us content creators going. I firmly believe in recognition for hard work and talent. This is what I hope to achieve today by recognizing the bloggers that inspired me in 2018.
We are all striving for something unique with our blogs. Be that self expression, sharing knowledge, financial freedom or letting others know that they are not alone in their experiences.
Personally, I choose to blog because I want to prove that I can do it. I want to show that the human spirit is amazing and that hard work pays off. I want to inspire. If I can achieve a dream, so can you. If I can bring a net positive to the world, so can anybody.
A Shout-out to the Blogging Community
Before I continue I would like to remind us that the Blogging community has space for all of our journeys. That alone inspires me everyday. In fact recently I asked the Blogging community via Twitter:
‘What’s your favourite thing about blogging?!’
Here are some of the replies ⬇️
The themes of collaboration and support formed a strong presence within the responses. If the list I’m about to provide doesn’t fuel your blogging fire, I hope at least the supportive and collaborative nature of the blogging community will.
You have kindly indulged me, now let’s crack on with the list 🙂
Unique Bloggers that Inspired me in 2018
These beautiful and unique bloggers have inspired me throughout 2018. They inspire me to keep going, exploring, sharing and getting better at what I do. The gratitude I have in my heart for their contribution to my Blogging journey, is MAHUSIVE. I’m gonna sing it from the roof tops!
So, with out further ado and in no particular order ⬇️
Ruth in Revolt
How to begin other than the usual, Ruuuuuuuuuuuth 😭 *happy tears.* Ruth is so inspiring that she literally inspired this very post with her brilliant 15 Favourite Blog Posts From 15 Favourite Bloggers. I was lucky enough to be featured for my post An EPIC SEO Deep Dive: Search Engines, Keywords & Algorithms. Thank you for the recognition Ruth!
You will find so much inspiration over at ruthinrevolt.com. Ruth categorizes herself as a Lifestyle Blogger. But within that theme Ruth explores Mental Health, Social Media, Blogging and more.
It’s not just Ruth’s blog that is inspiring, she inspires me because of who she is. Hard work, determination and kindness are words that spring to mind.
Head to Ruth’s Blogging category by clicking here.
Thank you for aspiring to raise others up in a world that can feel like it wants to tear you down 💜
Laura Spoonie Blogs
I relate to Laura on so many levels. We are both Chronic Illness Warriors and are both determined as heck to set personal goals regardless. Even if it means we move at a slower pace than your average bear! But darn it, we’re still moving even though it would be so easy to give up.
In the introduction to this post I talked about the human spirit. Laura’s blog is a testament to it’s existence. If you need some inspiration I implore you, head over to Laura Spoonie Blogs.
I would suggest starting with Laura’s Mental Health Awareness category by clicking here.
Thank you for being you girl. You are so resilient and inspire us all to keep going 💜
Life In A Suitcase
Cathy is an exemplar of the spirit of community and not just ours. If you visit Cathy’s virtual home, you will read in her bio that she decided to give up her home and travel to unknown destinations to provide healthcare to the undeserved.
Cathy’s work schedule often includes fifteen hour days yet she still finds time to retweet, comment, read, support and encourage the Blogging community. I remember my first Retweet from Cathy after I shared my post 5 Awesome Twitter Tips for Bloggers. It felt amazing for my hard work to be acknowledged and she expected nothing in return.
We are now firm blogging pals!
I LOVED Cathy’s post Minimalism – What is it? I would encourage you to give it a read and discover an interesting person and blogger in the process.
Thank you for your dedication, for the support and for your undeniable brilliance 💜
Hello Bexa
Bexa is pure awesomeness. You won’t find another Blogger willing to give you so much. Bexa stands for advice, support, encouragement and the bloomin’ rest. A visit to Bexa’s blog will motivate you to give more than you take and to collaborate with the community that supports us all.
If you are at the beginning your Blogging journey, please spend some time with Bexa over at her virtual abode! I would encourage you all to read Bexa’s post: A Bloggers Survival Guide: First Year Of Blogging. If you don’t leave with some inspiration, well then maybe blogging isn’t for you, cuz Bexa nails it!
Thank you for paving the way. You show us all what it means to be supportive and inspire the whole community 💜
